After several of the crew members reported a soft floor starting to give, an exit was ordered. Just as they were preparing to exit, the floor collapsed in the first floor dining room (delta quadrant) and a fire fighter from Rescue Squad 703 fell through to the basement. The bedroom below the dining room had been engulfed in flame just seconds before the structural collapse. A MAYDAY was called.
